Introducing Peaceful Kids

The App That Teaches Children How to Truly Feel and Heal

Now available on Apple Store

Welcome to Peaceful, the first-of-its-kind emotional regulation app designed specifically for children ages 3–17 — and the grown-ups who love them. Whether you’re a parent, caregiver, or educator, this all-in-one resource empowers young hearts and minds to better understand, manage, and move through their emotions with confidence, clarity, and calm.

🌈 Why Peaceful Kids?

Because kids deserve peace, too.
In today’s overstimulating world, our children are navigating more emotions, distractions, and stressors than ever before. Research shows that children who learn emotional regulation skills early in life perform better academically, build stronger relationships, and experience improved mental and physical health outcomes long-term.
Peaceful bridges the gap between emotional overwhelm and emotional empowerment — through gentle, effective, and age-appropriate tools grounded in mindfulness, neuroscience, and heart-centered connection.

✨ What’s Inside the App?

Peaceful is more than just an app — it’s a companion for emotional well-being. It’s thoughtfully designed to meet children right where they are, with support that grows with them.
Here’s what you’ll find:

🎥 Video Guides & Tutorials: Simple, guided videos for children and their caregivers to learn and practice tools together — from the moment they wake up in the morning to bedtime calming routines to midday emotional resets.

🌬️ Breathwork by Emotion + Age: Engaging audio and video exercises that teach kids how to use their breath to calm down, focus, energize, or reset — categorized by specific emotions like anxiety, anger, sadness, and more.

🧠 Mindfulness & Somatic Resets: Evidence-based practices that help children get back into their bodies and out of their stress response, teaching them to ground themselves through gentle movement and sensory awareness.

🎨 Color-Coded Age Groups: Whether your child is 3 or 17, Peaceful Kids meets them with content tailored to their developmental needs. The intuitive layout makes it easy for even the youngest users to explore their own emotional toolbox.

🌟 Emotion Library: Children can click on the feeling they’re experiencing — like frustration, stress, or fear — and immediately access soothing resources to help them process and regulate in the moment.

🧸 Created With Love, Rooted in Science

Peaceful was born from a deep understanding of what children really need: support, not shame; tools, not just timeouts. Created by a former teacher and healing arts practitioner, this app was developed with the intention of giving children the skills many adults wish they had learned growing up.
Studies show that daily mindfulness and breathwork practices:

• Reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression in children (Journal of Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics)

• Improve attention and behavior in classrooms (American Academy of Pediatrics)

• Increase resilience and emotional literacy (Child Mind Institute)

Peaceful makes these practices accessible, joyful, and consistent.

🌼 A Social-Media-Free Sanctuary

Unlike the noisy digital world that demands constant attention and comparison, Peaceful is a safe, nurturing space for children to breathe, grow, and just be. No ads. No scrolling. Just presence, peace, and personal growth.

Why Emotional Intelligence Matters
Emotional intelligence is understanding and managing one's emotions and empathizing with others. Children with high Emotional Intelligence tend to be more confident, form better relationships, and handle stress more effectively. By nurturing Emotional Intelligence, we're not just preparing them for academic success but also for meaningful and fulfilling lives.
Mindfulness and meditation help children develop focus, patience, and self-awareness. These practices can reduce anxiety, improve concentration, and enhance overall emotional well-being. Children learn to stay present and manage their emotions, leading to a more peaceful and productive mindset.
Sound healing uses soothing sounds to create a calm environment, promoting relaxation and reducing stress. For children, this can mean better sleep, improved mood, and a sense of inner peace. It's a fun and engaging way to introduce them to the benefits of a calm mind.
Somatic resets involve gentle movements and body awareness techniques to release tension and build resilience, helping to balance emotions. They help children connect with their bodies, recognize physical signs of stress, and develop healthy ways to cope with emotions.
Teaching children simple breathwork techniques can be a game-changer. It empowers them to manage stress and anxiety by harnessing the power of their breath. Breathwork promotes calmness, focus, and a sense of control, giving children a valuable tool they can use anytime, anywhere.
Integrating these practices into your child's life gives them a foundation for emotional intelligence and lifelong well-being.
Together, we start with small, fun activities and gradually build them into your routine. The journey towards emotional intelligence is rewarding, bringing joy and harmony to your family.
Let's empower our children with the skills they need to thrive in every aspect of their lives. Together, we can create a future where emotional intelligence and well-being are at the heart of our children's success.
The Importance of Teaching Emotional Intelligence to Children
Children are unique individuals with their own thoughts, ideas, identities, quirks, and triggers. As they navigate their daily lives, everything is new, which can be exciting and frightening. Children have always experienced the emotions that come along with growing up and figuring out their place in the world. Still, in recent years, the growing pains have increased between the effects of an unprecedented global pandemic and social media, compounded with the stress and overwhelm that just is part of being a child.
Each child has their own emotions to understand and navigate, making it crucial to teach them about emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence involves recognizing, understanding, managing, and effectively using one's own emotions and the emotions of others.
When I work with children and parents, we focus on a range of skills, including emotional awareness, the capacity to harness emotions for cognitive activities like thinking and problem-solving, and the ability to manage emotions in oneself and relationships. This approach helps children develop empathy, self-regulation, social skills, self-awareness, and motivation, enabling them to navigate social complexities and build positive relationships.
My goal is to support children and parents in developing skills and practices that promote emotional well-being as children grow into adulthood. This process involves teaching them to mindfully understand their emotions and take care of themselves. Recognizing that each situation is unique, I work with the child, the parents, or the entire family to create a sense of peace and presence tailored to their specific needs.
