What is Emotional Intelligence?

Emotional Intelligence (EI) refers to the ability to recognize, understand, manage, and influence one’s own emotions and the emotions of others. It involves skills that allow individuals to navigate social complexities, build stronger relationships, and make informed decisions based on emotional awareness.

Critical components of Emotional Intelligence include:

  1. Self-awareness: The ability to recognize and understand your emotions, strengths, weaknesses, and values and how they affect your thoughts and behavior.
  2. Self-Regulation: The capacity to manage your emotions effectively, particularly in stressful situations, and to maintain control over impulses and reactions.
  3. Motivation: An inner drive to pursue goals with energy and persistence, often guided by a deep sense of purpose and optimism, even in the face of setbacks.
  4. Empathy: The ability to understand and share the feelings of others, which allows for more compassionate interactions and the ability to respond to others’ needs effectively.
  5. Social Skills: Expertise in managing relationships, inspiring others, and navigating social networks. This includes effective communication, conflict resolution, and collaboration.


Emotional Intelligence (EI) is critical to personal and professional success. It enhances communication, reduces stress, improves relationships, and fosters a positive work environment. Unlike traditional cognitive intelligence (IQ), EI can be developed and strengthened over time, making it a valuable asset in every aspect of life.

Many of us weren’t taught about Emotional Intelligence, leaving us to navigate and manage our emotions on our own. Throughout life, we’ve all encountered some form of trauma—some more profound than others. It’s often when these deep-seated traumas are triggered that we become emotionally reactive.

My approach to Emotional Intelligence involves integrating healing arts modalities such as Meditation, Mindfulness, Sound Healing, Energy Healing, Somatic Reset, and Breathwork. These practices are seamlessly woven into your daily life, making the experience enjoyable and tailored to your unique needs.

While the Lifestyle Design Program is not a substitute for traditional therapy, especially during or after a traumatic event, it offers a complementary practice. This program helps bridge the gap by providing skills that conventional therapy sessions may not typically cover.

What the Program Looks Like

We start our journey together by examining the wheel of life, identifying the areas where you’d like to invite more peace and calm. This might involve learning techniques to reduce stress in your work or home environment, discovering joy in your hobbies, or anything in between.

Together, we’ll explore and tailor practices that resonate with you, carefully fitting them into your daily routine like pieces of a puzzle, ensuring everything aligns seamlessly.

Examples of Tools:

  • Difficulty with Transitions: Implementing a simple breathwork exercise, such as taking three deep breaths between tasks or meetings, to ease the shift from one activity to the next.
  • Managing Overwhelm: Carrying a worry stone in your pocket to rub when feelings of overwhelm arise, providing a calming tactile anchor.
  • Emotional Distress from Social Conflicts: Utilizing practices like loving-kindness meditation to process emotions related to conflicts with family, friends, or coworkers.
  • Difficulty Focusing: Incorporating binaural beats to enhance concentration and improve focus.
  • Daily Mindfulness and Meditation: Establish or strengthen a daily mindfulness and meditation routine, whether it’s starting the day with meditation, practicing on your lunch break, or before bed. Additionally, mindfulness is integrated into everyday activities, such as brushing your teeth, eating, or showering, to cultivate present-moment awareness.
  • Releasing Stagnant Energy: Learning emotional release techniques through meditation, sound healing, or energy work to move energy that no longer serves you.

This approach ensures that you develop a more profound sense of self-awareness, a robust self-care routine, inner peace, emotional intelligence, and overall well-being.

The program runs for 3 months and includes 12 weekly sessions
Weekly meetings are conducted either via Zoom or in my office in Jupiter, FL, depending on your location and schedule.
Yes, we offer several options to continue your journey beyond the initial 3 months.
Absolutely! This program goes far beyond just learning to meditate. If you already have a practice, we can take it to a deeper level. And if you're new to meditation, that's perfectly fine too—we'll work on it together.

Policies

Late Cancellation Policy: Appointments will be confirmed via text message 24 hours before the agreed-upon time. If you cancel after having confirmed your appointment or choose not to confirm your appointment, it will be considered a late cancellation.

Makeup Sessions and Rescheduling Fees: Should you miss or late-cancel an appointment, you have the choice to forfeit the session or reschedule using the following fee structure:

  • First missed appointment: $100 rescheduling fee.
  • Second missed appointment: $125 rescheduling fee.
  • Third missed appointment: $150 rescheduling fee.

 

Addressing Repeated Cancellations: After the third late cancellation, a meeting will be held to reassess the commitment to the program and determine the best way to move forward. This program aims to equip you with the skills to lead a peaceful and present life, and frequent missed appointments necessitate a reevaluation to find a suitable solution.

Emergency Situations: We understand that emergencies happen, and occasional late cancellations may be unavoidable. In such cases, we will handle them with the understanding that we are all human.

If you require more than the included sessions, you can arrange them at a special rate of $100 per session.

 

What Happens After The Three Months?

I sincerely hope that you find joy in developing your self-care practices and feel inspired to continue them in some capacity. Upon completing the three-month program, you’re invited to continue our sessions weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or as-needed at a special rate of $150 per session.
